                NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

Vaughn Meadows supports the campaign by the National Association of Town Watch to build and maintain safe neighborhoods.   We encourage all members to leave their front poarch light on to show our participation.

                           YARD SALE

In 2011 Vaughn Meadows Neighborhood Association began its annual Yard Sale.  The event is held on the second Saturday in June.  Should this date be rained out, the event will be held on the third Saturday in June.  The Yard Sale is open to the entire neighborhood, both members and non-members.  The Association takes care of advertising and promoting the Yard Sale.  The homeowner displays their items in their own yard and keeps all monies collected.  It's a wonderful time to do some spring cleaning and make some extra money!

                         SPRING PARTY

The annual event, chaired by a resident and supported by a team of volunteers, includes a cookout with food and soft drinks for all and many special events for the kids, ranging from a huge inflated playground to face painting.

Residents are requested to bring a contribution of covered a dish, desert, etc. to accompany the hot dogs and hamburgers.

All residents of Vaughn Meadows are invited and welcomed, even if they are not members of the Association.  Both the young and old gather on a designated street from late afternoon until just after dark.  A lively and enjoyable evening is had by all.

Each December, the Association hosts a Holiday Party in the home of a resident that will be announced closer to the holidays.  For the past two years, this has been in one of the most beautiful homes in the City, elegantly decorated for the evening by the owners.

Wine, beer and soft drinks are provided by the Association and residents are urged to bring an hors d’oeuvre.

All residents of Vaughn Meadows are invited and welcomed, even if they are not members of the Association.
